Illinois Sporting Clays State Tournament

NILO invites clays shooters from novice to experienced to try a variety of target games and competitions.

Along with the traditional trap and skeet, NILO also offers sporting clays, 5-stand, a 40-foot tower, riverside skeet and the infamous crazy quail. Crazy quail is a creation of NILO in which shooters standing 22 yards away are presented with birds launched in random, unexpected directions. Anyone breaking 10 out of 10 in this event earns his or her name inscribed on an exclusive roster at their clubhouse. For more realistic practice, their sporting clays course lets you envision doves, teal, woodies, pheasants and even rabbits. Winchester ammunition is always provided and shotguns are available for use. For those wanting to “step up” their game, NILO also offers shooting lessons on a per-hour basis.
